The Best in Lake Ontario
Salmon Fishing
From the Ports of
Oak Orchard/Point Breeze and
Wilson NY
Why Oak Orchard is our home Port.
Beside being a beautiful harbor in the country only 30 miles from Rochester to the east and
50 miles from Niagara Falls to the west, with many orchards, farm markets and wineries. It
is one of the best fishing ports on the lake.
In April as the waters warm along the south shore it attracts hungry Brown Trout, Steelhead,
and Lake Trout looking for some of their first meals after ice out.
Come summer the accessibility to productive deep cold waters only a short distance from
shore attract large schools of bait followed by hungry Salomon. These waters not only
provide them available food, but also cold waters for their
comfort, proving the most productive fishing on the lake.
More charter captains have moved to this port from other ports
on the lake, than any other, if they believe it is the best place to
be, shouldn’t you.
Maybe that is why Oak Orchard won the World Fishing Networks
“Ultimate Fishing Town” Award in 2013
“See you at the Oak”
